Outfit Picker Program

One of the biggest problems for me is I never know what clothes to wear every day. Sometimes it takes a lot of time and work to figure out what I want to wear and it’s a lot of stress. A lot of times I’m not actually happy with what I pick because I get frustrated and rush. For a simple program I would like to create for this would be a database where I can upload clothes that I have and choose outfits without actually looking through and messing up my closet.
 
Some of the basic features of the program are that it is going to have to be small and not take up too much   memory. It will be mainly used on a computer but will also have a smaller version for a cell phone or an iPod. The smaller version, or cell phone, will be used in case someone is in a rush and only has a few minutes to change. The cell phone feature will actually allow you to send pictures of your outfit to your friends for their opinion and also make sure you both aren’t wearing the same thing.

When you open the program it will ask for a username and password in order to open your database. If you are a new user you will have to create one. In the create a username screen you will have to enter an email address in case you lose your password. After creating an account the upload page will pop up in order to start uploading your clothes. The way you can upload is to either find it online or use the bar code. The bar code will probably the easiest way because you can just type it in and it will appear in your library. After uploading you can put those clothes into different categories which differentiate seasons and different activities such as, play clothes, dress clothes, etc. There will also be a calendar feature so that you can set your clothes for the whole week or even a month if you want. When the main screen opens and you choose your selections a screen will pop up with the best option for what you choose. You will then have the option to choose it, set it for another day, or click next. If you choose next it will automatically choose another outfit that best fit your choices.  You can keep hitting next until it gives you all of the choices possible. What is best about the outfit picker is that once you have chosen an outfit that shirt or type of pants will no longer stay in the database until it you wash it. This leads me to the next option on the main screen, which is the wash button. The wash button puts all the clothes back into the database so it is shown that everything is available. Next to the wash button will be a sort of recycle bin like on a desktop where you can go in and see what you have worn already. If you decide to take things out of the bin before washing then that’s fine, but don’t expect to get a second date.
 
On the outside main screen it will also have a cool option or a random pick. The random pick will pick any scenario and choose selections for you. Whether it is summer, winter, church, or a pickup basketball game the random button will put everything together. This option is more of a fun button to see what certain things would look like with one another. If you are feeling crazy enough to try the random outfit, then so be it. But don’t get too caught up because you might be finding yourself wearing a suit to the beach one day.
 
The last feature on the outfit picker program is an extra feature, which is more of an add-on feature. This feature is the shoe organizer. Unlike the outfit generator the shoe generator is not used with a wash button since they can be worn over and over again. The shoes are uploaded the same way as the clothes are but it is used after the outfit is picked. Once an outfit is picked before exiting, the shoe generator will come up and give you an option to choose it. If chosen it will give you the best color and style match to your outfit. This helps because it will make sure that you are matching from head to toe.
 
After having the outfit picker program you will never be left with not finding something you like. No more wasting time trying on things to see if they match. No more leaving your room with clothes all over the place. The outfit picker program will never have you worried again and will always have you looking your best.
